Uranium Exploration Australia Limited is a junior explorer with big aspirations. We seek an Exploration Geologist and / or Geophysist to join our expanding team of dedicated professionals. Based in Adelaide, the right candidate(s) will spend considerable time on a campaign basis in the field exploring various project tenements throughout Australia.
The position(s) will typically be responsible for providing vital technical input across the areas of -
- Target generation
- Planning, implementing and supervising mapping, sampling and drilling programs
- Logging of diamond drill core and chip samples
- Liaising with and supervising contractors
- Compilation and interpretation of exploration data
- Ongoing research and development of exploration models
- Ongoing research and implementation of thick cover geophysical exploration methods
The ideal candidate(s) will be passionate about geology and exploration, have a safe work ethic and be highly aware and considerate towards the community and environment in which they work. They will possess a minimum Geological Tertiary qualification with a solid understanding of geological / geochemical principles and exploration techniques. Experience with thick cover geophysical exploration techniques would be an advantage.
This is a permanent salaried position and a competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the right candidate(s) based on qualifications and experience.
