UXA was established to explore for, locate and develop commercial grade uranium and any associated base or precious metal mineralisation. The company has to date focused on exploring on its significant ground holdings in two of Australia’s world class uranium provinces in South Australia and Northern Territory and has recently expanded with new uranium projects in Western Australia and a lead zinc project in New South Wales

Northern Territory
The Company is actively exploring for uranium at Nabarlek in Arnhem Land and for uranium and REE at Yambla/Harts Range close to Alice Springs. The Nabarlek project is part of the Joint Venture with Reliance Industries.

South Australia
Stuart Shelf, Straits Joint Venture On the Stuart Shelf the Company holds nine granted exploration licences totalling 3314 km2 of ground prospective for iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) deposits (Olympic Dam and Prominent Hill Cu, Au (U) mines are examples of this type of deposit).

Western Australia
Canning Basin Uranium Project. In the Canning Basin, Western Australia the Company has assembled a group of 5 exploration licences and applications covering two large airborne radiometric anomalies situated around 120km South East of Derby and close to a sealed highway.

Dome 5, Mundi Plains and Junction Dam
UXA has signed an option agreement with Teck Australia Pty Ltd (Teck), a wholly owned subsidiary of the major Canadian mining company Teck Resources Limited, to advance exploration at Mundi Plains (NSW), Junction Dam (SA) and adjacent tenements for zinc-lead-silver and copper-gold deposits.
